“Iron Mace” Alvida is the former captain of the Alvida Pirates and the first nemesis encountered by Luffy on his journey to become the King of Pirates. At one point, Alvida was a round, extremely stout woman, but after being defeated by Luffy she became enamored with him. Since then, she has eaten the Slip Slip Fruit devil fruit which caused her to shed the excess weight, and teamed up with Buggy in order to track down Luffy. But if you asked her, the only change she experienced due to the Slip Slip Fruit is the loss of her freckles.
