Bartolomeo is the captain of the Barto Club and is known for his ability of "Barrier-Barrier Fruit." He is also the captain of the second ship of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. He joined as a gladiator to compete for the Flame-Flame Fruit at the Corrida Colosseum, where he met Monkey D. Luffy and pledged his loyalty towards him.
