He originally was a menber of Rumber Pirates but they holocoasted after a battle and Brook died with them. However because of the Revive-Revive Fruit that he ate when he was alive, he revived. Due to his soul taking too long time to back to his body, his boy skeletonized. Until he finally met the Straw Hat Crew, he was wandering for 50 years. Under the promise with Laboon that they will meet each other again, he joined the crew to meet Laboon.
