Perona is one of the Mysterious Four in Thriller Bark. She is very fond of cute things. She ate the Hollow-Hollow Fruit that allows her to create and control ghosts, which have power to drain the morale, self-esteem, and will to live of anyone whom they pass through, described as hollowing out the victim's spirit. She was sent to the site of Muggy Kingdom by Bartholomew Kuma. After Zoro was also sent there, she took care of him who causes some troubles while she was bothered by him. Her concern is Gecko Moria's safety, who disappeared after the Summit War.
