Marshall D. Teach is the captain of the Blackbeard Pirates, and owns ability of "Dark-Dark Fruit" and "Tremor-Tremor Fruit." He is known as Blackbeard. He was used to be a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, but run away after murdering one of its crew. He started Blackbeard Pirates, then became a member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and climbed all the way up to the Four Emperors.
